When we are going thru trails.            July 1 2025

The Israelites wandering in the desert had no food or water, and they were afraid. But they trusted God, and He provided for them. They trusted God to keep His promises, even when it seemed impossible. We can learn from their example to trust God in our own wilderness seasons.

Stand up fot God                     June 21 2025

A great problem in America is that we have an anemic and watered-down Christianity that has produced an anemic, watered-down, and spineless Christian who is not willing to stand up and be counted on every issue. We must have a virile, dynamic, aggressive Christian who lives Christ seven days a week, who is ready to die, if necessary, for his faith. We need Christians who are ethical, honest, gracious, bold, strong, and devoted followers of the Lord Jesus Christ.

God Will do it for you.               June 16 2025

Dear Lord, grant me the faith to know that You are good all the time, even during the most difficult circumstances of this life. When I am weak, lift me up. Enable me to accept the love and comfort from others who love me but let me rely on Your everlasting love for me. In Jesus' Name, Amen

Trust in God           May 22 2025

" Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.  Proverbs 3:5

I think that as we our Christian Called life in Christ, we learn to trust God. I know we may have this trust in Him as a young person but living and years of trails and disappointments bring closeness and complete trust.

Pray for all                       April 28 2025

God, I pray for anyone who is not a part of, a committed member of, a local church. Draw them to a community of brothers and sisters in Christ whom they can grow together with. Take them to a community where they can build and be built up by in Christ as a picture, as a portrait of what it means to be your body and your bride, Lord Jesus, on the earth. And God, that in our local churches and as the global church, we would realize the wonder of who we are and who youââ'¬â"¢ve called us out to be, that you would help us to stand firm as a pillar and buttress of the truth.God, I pray for anyone who is not a part of, a committed member of, a local church.

Share the word.                 April 8 2025

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son for our sins. Whoever shall believe in Him shall never perish but have everlasting life.

As a Christian we are supposed to share Godââ'¬â"¢s word with others. There may a fear in you that trying to prevent you from telling others about Jesus Christ, but its our duty to tell other about the saving power of God. Prayerfully ask God for strength to carry out our mission.

We go through things.                 April 3 2028

More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and enduarnce produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because Gods love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

Romans 5:3-5

We as Christians have days when it looks like there is no answers for our problems. We must be strong, steadfast and give our best to please God. Our hope is built upon Jesus Christ. The harder its gets, the more we pray.

Attitude                        March 25 2025

The Bible conveys the idea that our attitude is in the realm of our responsibility. In other words, we can do something about it. What has been your disposition and general tone lately? How has your attitude been coloring your character? Have you been Christlike? Of course, we all fall short of

Be like Christ                       March 13 2025

Living like Christ means emulating his teachings and example by demonstrating love, humility, compassion, and obedience to God, while serving others and seeking to glorify Him in all aspects of life.

Get up in the morning thanking God for life asking Him in prayer to help you to see others needs. Something that we must do is read the word of God first putting the devil to flight. I said that for Satan get up and he will attack your testimony.

Prayer:                  March 10 2025

"Lord, I bring my daily problems to You with gratitude. Help me to see Your hand in everything and to trust in Your guidance. Give me wisdom and strength to face my challenges, and fill my heart with peace and hope. Amen."

God will.                                     March 6 2025

Psalm 46:10: "Be still, and know that I am God"

Going through a rough time in your life. Things looks like trouble is headed your way and you are desperate. The one advice is found in the word of God, stand firm on His promises God will help you.

Voice of God                    feb 28 2024

1st Timothy 1:19-Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away, concerning faith have made shipwreck:

Thank you for that inside voice that points me in the direction of doing what is right and avoiding what is wrong. And thank you, Sprit, for sensitizing me to sin. When I am tempted to do what I know is wrong, Lord, give me the strength to respond in a way that honors you. Please help me chose the right path and keep my conscience clear.

Going all the way with God                              Feb 27 2025

"Dear God, we come before you today feeling heavy with the burdens we carry. We know that you are our rock and our refuge, and we ask for your strength to navigate through these challenging times. Please fill our hearts with your peace and remind us of your unfailing love."

  • Scripture Reading:

Psalm 23:4 "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me."

  • Reflection:

This verse reminds us that even when we face darkness and uncertainty, God is always by our side, providing guidance and comfort. Just like a shepherd protects their sheep, God will never leave us alone in our struggles.

  • Personal Application:

Think about a time in your life when you felt particularly alone or scared, and how God's presence helped you through that situation. How can you apply this same trust in God to the challenges you are facing now?

  • Prayer:

"Lord, as we face these difficulties, we choose to trust in your faithfulness. Please grant us the strength to endure, the wisdom to make good decisions, and the hope that comes from knowing you are always with us. Thank you for your never-ending love and grace. Amen."

 Isaiah 40:31                 Feb 24 2025

"But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint"

Learn how to wait on the Lord. Theyââ'¬â"¢re going to be trails, heartaches, and look as though no hope coming, but wait on the Lord. He is never late, but on time.

  Isaiah 41:10
"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

I know there are many people that are trying hard to make it through the day. They work from early in the morning until late at night. They come home hear the family problems and try to answer many questions. This is the way it goes day after day until you retire for the night. During the night you toss from side to side, waking up just to think, what a day this have been.

There is a place we can get help to manage, work, family and problems that comes with life. Jesus has opened the door for you and me. Come in sit down and hear Jesus speak these words too you; I am just a prayer away, call me and I will answer.

We got it.                 Feb 2 2025

Eternal Security; lock in; can never be taken from me. Wow this is for you and me; donââ'‰"¢t have to worry anymore about where we spend eternity.

I know that is a strong statement. There are people that will not agree, but I search, prayed and have been convicted that when we fully submit to the finishing work of Jesus Christ itââ'¬â"¢s a done deal.

I believe that Jesus Christ saved me from my sins, because I accepted Him as Lord and Savior. Yes its that easy, but some want to add other things to obtain salvation; I have to tell them no.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it in the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8,9.

This part I loved if itââ'¬â"¢s a gift, God does not take it back. We are adopted into His family.

John 10:27 Lead Us to Listen to the Voice of God.            Jan 31 2025

And so, to live today, listening to His voice in His word and then, following His voice as He leads us by His spirit according to His word. God, we praise you for the privilege of being your sheep, of hearing your voice, knowing your voice, and you, knowing us.

The sheep of Christ.

You remember how He speaks of His own in John 10:27-30: "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me: and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand. [Letââ'¬â"¢s look at this for a minute.] My sheep hears me-real sheep-not sometime sheep-not just on Sunday, but my sheep. The sheep that came to me to have their sins washed away, My sheep

When there is silent.            Jan 23 2024

When God is silent it gives me time to think. I ask God for money and peace from the pressures of life, but I feel the silence. It seems as though God done went to sleep. Well thatââ'‰"¢s not true, because He never sleeps and never forgets.  I wonder then whatââ'‰"¢s His problem; he knows me, answer please.

The silence of God happens to all of us at one time or another. I think its time for me, maybe you also, to do a checklist to see if we are doing what God requires of us. What am I doing wrong? What should I do to get God to open up His ears? Did I not pray for those who donââ'¬â"¢t have bread to eat? I been going to Church, but when they lift the offering I donââ'¬â"¢t put what God requires of me sometimes. There are a lot of things we need to check.

When God is silent; yes things donââ'¬â"¢t get done. Things fall apart and we become like a piece of puzzle that canââ'¬â"¢t fit into the proper place. Its no fun when you are looking for answers and cant get them, therefore, we must submit to the will of God. What is Gods will for us? There is a scripture that says God have shown thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? [Micah 6:8]

Proverb 3:6  says, "In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.". This verse essentially states that if you seek God's will in all aspects of your life, He will guide you on the correct path.

The right pathway.

The Path we take will determine our future. We choose various paths -routes for places where we want to go and visit. Many times, the family and I pack up the suitcases and set our destination, using a GPS. What I like about the GPS is it get us there most of the time.

Most of the time getting lost on wrong road, the GPS say wrong path. Wrong path, but GPS supposed to know the correct pathway. This is a problem today, because people are depending on other things to get them on the correct path.

I learned a lesson that will keep me on the right path. I donÃÆ'Ã'¢Ã¢'Ã'¬Ã¢"Ã'¢t need GPS or any type of device directing me. I found all I need is in the Lord. The path of the Lord is not hard to follow. We know there are those that think itÃÆ'Ã'¢Ã¢'Ã'¬Ã¢"Ã'¢s impossible to accept the path of the Lord. I am sorry, but itÃÆ'Ã'¢Ã¢'Ã'¬Ã¢"Ã'¢s the only path that has great benefits. The benefit ofÃÆ'Ã'¢Ã¢'Ã'¬Ã¢"Ã'¢ being with the Lord forever, plus much more.

Psalms 25: 4-5 says, show me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths. Lead me in thy truth and teach me: for thou art God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all day.

Colossians 3:17:

  • "And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."

Thankful for everything.             Jan 19 2024

We wake up in the morning and do the little things to get ready for the day. Some of us have jobs and some are looking for a job. There is some that donÃÆ'Ã'¢Ã¢'Ã'¬Ã¢"Ã'¢t care about a job; nevertheless, the day is started.

What I have learned from the word of God is to be thankful for everything. I am thankful to God for enabling me to work and clothes myself and thankful for those who are not thankful.

Be thankful to God for whatever you have in life, because there are people who are in need but never get it.

My sheep                   Jan 18 2024

You remember how He speaks of His own in John 10:27-30: "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me: and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand. [Lets look at this for a minute.] My sheep hears me-real sheep-not sometime sheep-not just on Sunday, but my sheep. The sheep that came to me to have their sins washed away, My sheep.v

1 Peter 2:24

"He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds you are healed".

Jesus done it all-job fully complete. We could not get out of the situation that sin placed us into. Caught in a vice with a cry for get me out and Lord please heal me. Thank God for He heard and delivered all that accept His Son Jesus Christ. At the cross I received all the benefits. Yes, itÃÆ'Ã'¢Ã¢'Ã'¬Ã¢"Ã'¢s a good feeling to know it all done with no strings attached, only believe and trust in Jesus.

Dec 21 2024                                  Overcome fear.

We have heard the modern expression, "Don't fight itÃÆ'Ã'¢Ã¢'Ã'¬"it's bigger than both of us." Those who are meek do not fight back at life. They learn the secret of surrender or yielding to God. He then fights for us! Instead of filling your mind with resentments, abusing your body by sinful diversion, and damaging your soul by willfulness, humbly give all over to God. Your conflicts will disappear, and your inner tensions will vanish into thin air. Then your life will begin to count for something. You will have the feeling of belonging to life. Boredom will melt away, and you will become vibrant with hope and expectation. Because you are meekly yielded, you will begin to "inherit the earth" of good things, which God holds in store for all who trust Him with their all.

Starting this week                                 Dec 15 2024

Lord, I pray for the grace to remember You in every moment of my week. Help me to acknowledge Your presence, seek Your guidance, and honor You in my thoughts, words, and actions. May my entire week be an act of worship to You. I commit this week to Your loving hands, trusting that Your plan for me is perfect.

Colossians 1:23             Dec 11 2024

Dear Father,

Help me to continue in the faith by holding on to what you have given and by being stable and steadfast.

Don't let anything move me away from the hope of the Good News which I heard, which was proclaimed throughout the whole creation under heaven.

You make my endurance possible by filling me with your Spirit. Fill me more and more! And thank you for being my Father.

In the name of Jesus and by his authority I ask. Amen.

Faith                                     November 19 2024

Matthew 21:22 - And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith. Luke 1:37 - For nothing will be impossible with God. 2 Corinthians 5:7 - For we walk by faith, not by sight. Romans 10:17 - So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.

There are people who struggles each day. They get themselves in situations without even trying. Wondering and asking-what did I do to get into this mess? Living a life without faith in God is not a good choice, but many do it. I think if a person put God first, believing and trust Him faithfully, help will be there. I believe that God is just a prayer away. Start walking the faith road and watch the changes in your life.

Refuge                                             November 13 2024

Psalm 18:1-5"I love you, Lord, my strength. "The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

God can do it for you. Surrender the cares of the world that trying to hold you down. Live the day that God provides for you. One day at a time is all you can handle. God will not leave you. Rest in assurance that God gives strength to you in times of trouble.

For us.                               Nov 1 2024

Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! ÃƒÆ'Ã'¢Ã¢'Ã'¬" Psalm 34:8 (NKJV)

What is your favorite food? Have you ever given any thought to how that food become your favorite? Most of us simply tried new food, realized it was amazing, and now it's our favorite.

The same is true with getting to know God. To really get to know Him, you've got to try Him. Obviously, you can't try God like you would try the food, but you can get to know Him. You can pray, read your Bible, listen to teaching on YouTube, or a Podcast, and find out for yourself that He's good.

The closer you get to God the more you realize that you can trust Him. God isn't up one day and down the next. He doesn't have days when He likes you and days when He doesn't. God is always the same. He's faithful, and as you get to know Him, you begin to trust Him more.

Keeping others first.                    Oct 24 2024

Philippians 2:3-4 in the Bible tells us to consider others by valuing them above ourselves and looking out for their interests:

Do people think about you as much as you think about them?

There are some cases or relationships where the amount of mental space taken up in a person's mind isn't reciprocated. "Maybe your mom really does think about you more than you think about her, sadly this is a problem in this world. I believe our thoughts of others should be fill will prospering and success.

Helping others is our job.               Oct 12 2024

The Bible has many teachings about the importance of helping others. One of the most well-known passages is found in Matthew 25:35-40 where Jesus says, "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me... Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."

The Bible also emphasizes the importance of generosity and compassion towards others. In James 2:14-17, it says, "What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, 'Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,' but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead."

Overall, the Bible teaches that helping others is not only a moral obligation but also an expression of faith and love. By serving those in need, we demonstrate our commitment to God's values and show compassion to those who are less fortunate.

God is what we trust in our lives.                Oct 11 2024

Trusting God with our future means it's equally important for us to allow Him to heal us from the pain of our past as well.

"We can bury the pain of our past but it doesn't mean it's dead."

Trusting God requires us to walk through our experiences and pain with Him.

Sometimes I think we, as believers, shove our pain down and top it off with a great scripture and call it healing

Scripture was never meant to be a bandaid in our life. Merely holding us together. The Word of God, our relationship with Him, provides healing that has side effects of joy, peace, kindness, patience, and gentleness despite if that situation gets brought up again.

God will be there-wait.                        Oct 4 2024

Isaiah 40:31

"But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint." (ESV)

Tired and you don't know which way to turn. You have put all on the all before God; so you think. Cried all night and the tears don't give release. What a place to be, but God is still on the throne. Wait, wait on the Lord with full assurance that He will come in time.

Stand still for God               Sept 29 2024

How about standing still and waiting for God? In the Bible, we read a few occasions where God told His people to stand still: Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord (Exodus 14:13); Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth (Psalm 46:10).How about standing still and waiting for God?

Hope in God                              Sept 24 2024

Romans 15:13. "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Since God is the Author of our salvation, we can call Him the God of hope for He has given us hope. We must trust God at all times, knowing that He never fails nor forget we are His children.

God will do it for you.     Sept 24 2024

Dear Lord, grant me the faith to know that You are good all the time, even during the most difficult circumstances of this life. When I am weak, lift me up. Enable me to accept the love and comfort from others who love me, but let me rely on Your everlasting love for me. In Jesus' Name, Amen.v

God is our source.                     Sept 19 2024

Christians facing difficult situations today can take comfort in Jeremiah 29:11 knowing that it is not a promise to immediately rescue us from hardship or suffering, but rather a promise that God has a plan for our lives and regardless of our current situation, He can work through it to prosper us and give us a hope ...

Forever God.                      September 5th 2024

"Forever, O LORD, Your word is settled in heaven. Your faithfulness continues throughout all generations; You established the earth, and it stands. They stand this day according to Your ordinancesÃÆ'Ã'¢Ã¢'Ã'¬Ã'Ã'¦" My circumstances or feelings have not changed God.

My God your word in written in Heaven and I am glad it cannot be change. The things we go through will soon pass and in Heaven there will be peace and joy.

Press On!                  Aug 26 2024

"I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God
has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." Philippians 3:14

Of all the Israelites, perhaps no one strove harder to please God than Saul of Tarsus.
Every area of his life conformed strictly to the Law. No one could accuse this respected
Pharisee of lacking zeal. He was a man with a mission-a mission to please and serve
God.

But on the road to Damascus, Saul's life changed entirely. From now on, he would no
longer try to please God himself. Instead, he would press on with the goal of knowing
Christ. "I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing
Christ Jesus my Lord." Philippians 3:8 (NIV emphasis added). Saul (now called Paul)
had a new mission-a mission that remained constant amid ever-changing circumstances.
It didn't matter whether he was preaching to a crowd or sitting in a damp prison.
Paul now had one goal before which everything in his life bowed. Paul wanted to know
his Lord.

How about you? Is knowing ChristÃÆ'Ã'¢Ã¢'Ã'¬"fellowshipping, trusting, and depending on Him-the
goal toward which you're striving? Ask God to help you press on to know Him today.

What does it mean to trust God at all times?        Aug 21 2014

To trust is to believe in the reliability, truth, ability or strength of something. So, when it comes to trusting God, that means believing in His reliability, His Word, His ability and His strength. The Bible says that God cannot lie. That He always keeps His promises. That He loves you and has good in store for you.

Trust in God                                     Aug 6 2024

Psalm 62:8 encourages us, "Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge" (NIV).

The Psalmist David knew that in order for him to lived and prosper he had to trust God. We are not David, but we must do the same. Life brings all sorts of things to us that causes pain and sometimes healing. Through all the trails we go through, trust God and He will bring us to a place where we can rest assured that He is always with us.

Have the mind of Christ.                   Aug 4 2024

Many diseases of both body and mind are self-inflicted. For example, ulcers are often caused by worry and anxiety. Heart attacks are caused many times by overexertion. Unjustified worry, fear, prejudice, hatred, and envy can contribute to mental stress, which could lead to mental illness. So one way to have a healthy mind is to avoid those practices. But the Bible way to a healthy mind is this, "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus." If you have the mind of Christ, worry will be offset by trust, enmity by love, and fear by faith.

In Gods care.                                                   July 23 2024.

As God's children, we are His dependents. The Bible says, "Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear Him." Dependent children spend little time worrying about meals, clothing, and shelter. They assume, and they have a right to, that all will be provided by their parents. Because God is responsible for our welfare, we are told to cast all our care upon Him, for He careth for us.

Because we are dependent upon God, Jesus said, "Let not your heart be troubled." God says, "I'll take care of the burdenÃÆ'Ã'¢Ã¢'Ã'¬"don't give it a thoughtÃÆ'Ã'¢Ã¢'Ã'¬"leave it to me." Dependent children are not backward about asking for favors. They would not be normal if they did not boldly make their needs known. God is keenly aware that we are dependent upon Him for life's necessities. It was for that reason that He said, "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you."

For you and me.                                 July 14 2024

One of the best ways to get rid of discouragement is to remember that Christ is coming again. The most thrilling, glorious truth in all the world is the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. When we look around and see pessimism on every side, we should remember the Bible is the only Book in the world that predicts the future. The Bible is more modern than tomorrow morning's newspaper. The Bible accurately foretells the future, and it says that the consummation of all things shall be the coming again of Jesus Christ to this earth. If your life is dismal, depressed, and gloomy today, Christ can turn those dark clouds inside out. The sunlight of His love can still shine into the darkest part of your life.

The why                           July 5 2024

There is still another vital aspect to the "why" of Jesus' departure. He said, "If I do not go away, the Helper (Paraclete) will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you." Jesus' departure was tied to Pentecost. There is no Pentecost without ascension. As the invested King of kings, Jesus had the authority together with the Father to send His Holy Spirit in a new and powerful way upon the church. Jesus spoke of a certain necessity of His leaving in order for the Spirit to come. Herein was another great advantage. He declared, "Ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you" (Acts 1:8, KJV).

Two remarkable things happened to the disciples after Jesus departed. The first is that they "returned to Jerusalem with great joy" (Luke 24:52). They were not despondent over the departure of Jesus. Obviously they finally understood why He was leaving. They understood what, for the most part, the church since then has failed to understand. We live as if it would not have been better for Jesus to leave.

The second obvious change in the lives of the disciples was in their spiritual strength. After Pentecost, they were different people. No longer did they flee like sheep without a shepherd. Instead, they turned the world upside down. They turned the world upside down because they fully understood two simple things: the "where" and the "why" of Jesus' departure.

We need peace                             June 28 2024

Beyond all natural reasoning, I pray "the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" today, tomorrow and forever (Philippians 4:7, NIV). Thank You, Lord, that You are peace and You are with me.

We need the peace of God. This world is full of hate and people are killing each other. The peace all need is to spend time with God teaching us to love all people.

Luke 21:28 American Standard Version (ASV)       June 21 2024

Watching and looking.

But when these things begin to come to pass, look up, and lift up your heads; because your redemption draweth nigh.

Christians have something to gain for staying close to God. Prayer goes a long way, keeping  you in touch with God. Many things are happening today. People are doing whatever they want to do, not for pleasing God. Yes its coming to an end, look to the hills for help in own the way.

Peace                                                June 18 2024

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. Psalm 23:4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

In these days we need peace. Peace with those we have contact with. I am finding out more these days, that the people that is closer to you needs to learn to be peaceful. Thank God for his Son Jesus Christ who gives us peace if we want it.

The first family: Adam and Eve                  June 5 2024.

The very first people on earth formed a family. From the beginning, God blessed and encouraged families, commanding Adam and Eve to "be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth" (Genesis 1:28).

Honor thy father and mother

One of the?Ten Commandants ?given to Moses in the Old Testament speaks directly about the relationship between parents and children: "Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee" (Exodus 20:12).

Jesus taught about marriage

Jesus Christ taught that marriage is holy and essential to God's plan: "From the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; and they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder" (Mark 10:6ÃÆ'Ã'¢Ã¢'Ã'¬"9).

This is for us.                                                    June 3 2024

James 1:12Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. PRAY: Encourage me during this trial and give me the strength to persevere so that I may receive the crown of life!

God got my back.                               May 24 2024

NASB Daniel 6:23

Then the king was very glad and gave orders for Daniel to be lifted up out of the den. So Daniel was lifted up out of the den, and no injury whatever was found on him, because he had trusted in his God.

The Den of mistrust, hate, and mis-understood, because you trust in God. Yes, this can be us that knows God will deliver because we trust in Him. People have often tried to stamp out the work of God. We as Christians must keep doing the will of God at any cost.

Completly trust.                                                 May 23 2024

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6). And so it is with God. Drawing near to God requires first a quieting of the exterior so that we can quiet our interior.

I will be with you.                          May 21 2024

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand" (Isaiah 41:10, NIV).

Trusting God and watch Him take care of your problems. There are many things in this life that we come up against. God will give us strength and take us out of situations. One day you will look back and say; "want He do it."

Psalm 14:2                                                     May 14 2024

Seeing you

The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.

If God look down upon you today, what will He see?

Friends we must do the things that pleases God. We are never to give in to satin. Study the Bible to understand how to live in Christ. We don't have to go searching around the corner for God-He just a prayer away.

For all Gods People.                                      Mat 11 2024

We praise you, Lord, as a powerful Creator, the source of truth and grace, and the giver of true freedom. Give us courage and discernment to follow you wholeheartedly, with commitment and strong faith.

May 4 2024              HOPE

Romans 8:24

For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

This hope began the moment we were saved. And then he goes on to explain a little bit about what "hope" is in verse 24. He says, "But hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he's already seen?" So, he's reminding us that all true hope is in what we cannot see. If we could see it, it wouldn't be hope.

Christian lived in this hope and we know all will come to be.

Helping others in the Church.

Philippians 4:3

King James Version                    May 3 2024.

And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.

Earlier in the book Paul had address the problems of not getting along among two women. Now Paul is telling others to help them in every way. He tells them strongly that their names are in the book of life along with theirs also. The lesson for us is do all we can for the Church.

God is in control.                                  May 2 2024

The LORD's unfailing love surrounds the man who trusts in him. Rejoice in the LORD
and be glad, you righteous; sing, all you who are upright in heart!" Psalm 32:10,
11

God controls and allows
every detail of our lives. Nothing happens without His knowledge and approval.

Every day, little changes in schedule or small irritations occur. Everyday, we can
choose to let these obstacles upset us, or we can rest in the knowledge that God lovingly
ordained them as small irritants to help us look to and rely on Him. For example,
we can grumble about the frustrating traffic jam that is keeping us from getting somewhere
on time, or we can remember that God knows about our deadlines and view the time sitting
in traffic as an opportunity to pray. We can complain, or we can rejoice.

May we allow the knowledge that we are continually surrounded by God's
unfailing love to permeate our lives and chase away our complaints and fears.

1 John 1:5-9                        April 26 2024.

King James Version

This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

This Book of 1st John has a great message for us-God is Light. We Christians must practice our profession; saved by the blood of Jesus Christ. We must never forget to show our light to others. This light is where we walk in keeping in mind Jesus enable us to have this light. Yes it's good to know that Jesus paid the full price for our sins. Amen.

David-you also.              April 23 2024.

10. Psalms 23:1-6 KJV

"The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: And I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever."

David and His God. I could also say you and your God. The Lord is always there for us, only trust and believe. When the time gets rough and trouble looks like it all around-God takes care of it. God gives and has the tools we need to overcome all evil things that some brings on us. The spirit of God is given to us, keeping us day by day. O the mercy of God, thank you for mercy, for when I err get side tracked, you God extends your mercy to me. My home is waiting and I will be a resident with my God thought eternity.

Comfort in God.                                   April 20 2024.

2 Corinthians 1:3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

In His Word, God specifically calls Himself "the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trouble." Why does God call Himself the God "of all comfort"? Because He knows His people will suffer in this world, and so He knows we will need His comforting presence. True for at one time another we have been there, but God is already there for us. God loves us and He assured us that comfort is in Him for all who wants it.

Believe this.                                          April  16 2024

1 John 4:9ÃÆ'Ã'¢Ã¢'Ã'¬"10

In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins

Some people thinks they have been so bad and God couldn't love them. They killed, robbed and stole from others. They might say, how can God love me? I am no good at all. Well God loves us because He is God and He never changes. God so loved the world that He gave His Son up for our sins. Yes, some ask why? God says I still love you.

I like this.                             April 15 b2024

God loves us with unconditional love, He forgives our transgressions, and He takes care of us. By faith and with prayer, give up your worries, burdens, and fears to God. During trials and temptation, He sustains and strengthens the faithful. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.

Give thanks to God.                              April 8 2024.

Isaiah 12:4-5 (NASB) And on that day you will say, "Give thanks to the LORD, call on His name. Make known His deeds among the peoples; make them remember that His name is exalted." Praise the LORD in song, for He has done glorious things; let this be known throughout the earth.

Every day you awake from your sleep, thank God for it. Thank God for all the trails you are going through. Thank God for looking beyond your faults and blessing you with your needs. Tell someone about the goodness of God hoping that the message will spread all over the world.

Come are you are-come.

Matthew 11:27-30                                  April 5 2024

28 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

Don't try to be good enough; come as you are to Jesus and let him fix all of your problems. Have not you heard this, when I get my life together then I come to Jesus. I got to do this and get dressed up then maybe I will be alright and get accepted by Jesus. My friends we cant do enough to be alright. We got to let Jesus come into our life. Let Jesus who already done paid the price for all mankind do it all.

Jesus wants you to come to Him knowing He will lift every burden you have. Jesus offered complete rest for our souls.

     Always God.                                                                   April 4 2024

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

Before we start out in the morning to do the things we have to do, give thanks to God for allowing us to do them. God has kept us all night while we slept. Watch over our homes through all the things going on in the world.

God has taken us through many ups and downs while some of us did not know how we were going to make it. God strength lift us over many circumstances in life. Thank Him for loving us when was faithless-He remained faithful.

King James Version

2 Timothy 2:15                                                               April 2 2024.

15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

The Bible should be read if you have one. The scriptures in the Bible must be studied and not taken out of context. I have talked to people that say they read and study the Bible, but after much conversations on what is the scriptures are saying, they say things that causes me to doubt if they studied or just read. There is a difference between the two; reading only, but not studying will cause a person to misinterpret scriptures. Paul in his letter to the young preacher-Timothy tells of studying the word of God to get a better understanding.

Teaching others about Jesus Christ we must do the very best we can, therefore we must studied the Bible.

Everlasting life iyou can have it.

John 5:24 ESV                             March 25 2024.

Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.

Lord I thank you for  me not being hard headed. I take you for your word. Friends its simple; accept, believe and trust in Jesus Christ and you can have life forever. I know you are living now, but this will be gone one day, but there is assurance from God to have it over again in heaven.

Praise God all the time.                               March 23 2024.

"Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." (1 Thessalonians 5:18) "Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name." (Psalm 100:4)

In all that you do, give God the praise. Praise Him in the morning, praise him at noon, praise Him at night. How about praise God all the time without counting them. I have praise God for safety in the car when others almost got me. I cant get enough of telling God thank you. Now how about you?

What we should do.                         March 22 2024

"Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you." ÃÆ'Ã'¢Ã¢'Ã'¬" Colossians 3:12-13, NIV

Life is full of situations where we have to interact with other people and we are presented with a choice: how are we going to treat them? At times, kindness may not be our instinctual response because kindness often requires sacrifice of some sort on our end.

Sometimes kindness requires us to put aside our pride and humble ourselves. Other times it may take time or energy. However, kindness is worth what it costs. The Bible prompts us many times to treat others with kindness and love throughout our lives

Do good to others.                        March 21 2024

Galatians 6:10 ~ "Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers."

There no other way of doing good for others than doing good as the Bible says. Yes, sometimes you may question yourself, saying I don't know if I can help her or him because I remember what was done to me. I gave my last to the person and look they want give me a dime. I know what I will do is let someone else be a fool this time.

Reading the word of God and drawing closer to Jesus made me see that we must obey the word and do good because God showed love to all. Jesus from the cross said Father forgive them for what they are doing. From the cross goodness was given to all of us without asking. Now what; do good that is what we suppose to do.

God can do it.                                                March 18 2024

John 16:33: "I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world." Philippians 4:6-7: Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything.

There is a song that was sung by black folks in the cotton fields; nobody knows the trouble I seen. This could be for all people, regardless of their beliefs, cultures and color of skin. Troubles seem to find its way to the doorsteps.

The mailman delivers mail and trouble has its own provider. Look around you see trouble moving faster than lighting. Wow! It's here again, trouble seems to find me, this is what some people are saying.

Is there a Doctor in the house yes Jesus? He, Jesus can help get rid of trouble in your life. Do you want this help; well it's just a prayer away.

1 John 2:15-17                                         March 14 2024.

15. Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16. For everything in the world-the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does-comes not from the Father but from the world. 17. The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.

The bible teaches us not to love the things in the world. We can easy get caught up in this loving things of the world. We can love money, friends, cars and many more things that has cause some to put God on the back burner.

I learned that when we put those worldly things in their rightful places and seek Gods will for us, things get better; plus blessing being to come our way.

2 Corinthians 12:7-10                        March 13 2024

New King James Version

The Thorn in the Flesh

And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to [a]buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three  times that it might depart from me. And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

I believe most people that preaches, teaches or witness to others about Jesus Christ has something they would like to get rid of. I have something that I called my thorn in the flesh. I worry about things, been like that all my life. I prayed and God answered my prayer with the small voice-trust me. You may have something thats really bothered you, but no matter what you do it's still there. Now maybe it's your thorn in the flesh. The lesson we learn from Pauls thorn is we can trust God and keep doing his will.

  Gods people.                                   March 11 2024.

Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;   1st Peter 5:2

If God has given you the task of reaching people with His gospel; do it out of love. Always prayerfully, and being under the power of the spirit of God. Our minds must be willing to reach depths of love teaching.

Blesses are those who trust in the Lord Jeremiah 17:1           March 6 2024

Lord thank you for being patience with me. I remember some years ago I was not trusting in things always.  Always doubting, what if and maybe kind of trust. I had to get serious with praying for deliverance of this dreadful curse-not fully trusting. I also called this scared to fall off and doom. This is not away to live for God. We must be strong, never doubting the strength of God. Giving our all for the kingdom is what trust is all about..

1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. Psalms 23:1                      March 5 2024

A provider is a person who takes care of the needs of others. This person is dependable and a kind gentle person. Well I certainty hope so. He or she knows how to turn things completely around so those whom depends upon them can rest assured that things will be good.

I can go about things that I have to do each day. I can smile and look at life in all its glory because the Lord Jesus Christ, is my provider. I shall not want because He takes care of things for me. If you need this provider, pray and ask Him to care for you.

God is faithful.                                 March 4 2024

Proverbs 21 2-3 NIV.                                        March 1 2024.

2 A person may think their own ways are right,
but the Lord weighs the heart.

3 To do what is right and just
is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.

Don't play around with God. I have heard people say; God knows my heart and He knows I mean well. The problem that I see with this is; you know you not doing what is required of you. This can also be away from not doing right because it will put you out of your comfort zone.

God has His requirements and it's not changeable. It is more easy to do right instead of trying to avoid it. God acceptance is base upon what we do from the heart.

Thankful for all things.                       Feb 29 2024

Ephesians 5:20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God   and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We wake up in the morning and do the little things to get ready for the day. Some of us have jobs and some are looking for a job. There are some that don't care about a job; nevertheless, the day is started.

What I have learned from the word of God is to be thankful for everything. I am thankful to God for enabling me to work and clothes myself and thankful for those who are not thankful.

Be thankful to God for whatever you have in life.

God Is With You                                      Feb 28 2024

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand" (Isaiah 41:10, NIV).

This world in which we lived has uphill battles. Sometimes we get in a situations that cause stress. This stressful thing brings us to the point giving up. Its to hard, cant handle; this is what going on in you. Thoughts racing in your mind and found yourself searching for answers and guess what; God is just a prayer away. God is always near to help you, just let Him. Yes He promise to be with all who trust in him.

This is something all christians should do, find a place, time you can listen to God without distractions.

Trust God                                             Feb 26 2024

God is our source of peace, love, joy, and security, in this life and eternally. Dear Lord, help us to put our trust in You to provide us what we need. In Jesus' name we pray.

What is the significance of the Calvary Hill?      Feb 25 2024

The Mount of Calvary was the site outside the gates of Jerusalem where the crucifixion of Christ took place. The scene was replicated around the world in numerous "calvary hills" after the Counter-Reformation and they are used by Roman Catholics in particular as part of their worship and veneration of God.

Two hills.

Walking up a hill is tough when you got a load. Sweat running down, breathing hard and trying to get air. The old hill gets harder and harder to climb, but you keep on trying to make it.

Falling down often and you gave up; too tired to finish this hill.  Let me tell you this; Jesus Christ climbed another hill for all, never gave up, for our sins were on His shoulders.  Tired and beaten tell blood ran down, but Jesus finished the climbed. Thank you Jesus for climbing that hill we could not.
