How do we achieve the good life? Well, it depends on what you pursue and what you consider "good." The world defines good things as items and experiences that make us happy. But from the Lord's perspective, the good things in life are those that fit into His purpose and plan for us.
I know you have seen or heard about the person spreading their coat over the water puddle to let the little old lady walk on preventing her feet's from getting wet. This is doing good helping others because of their enablement. How about this; stop your car and help push someone out of the way of traffic because their car stopped.
The bible has much to say about Jesus doing good for people without cost to them. I think we should pattern our lives after Jesus do the best we can for the kingdom of God.
